This morning we travelled to Ilfracombe. It looks very picturesque but unfortunately we didn’t get much of an opportunity to explore properly as before too long we were treated to torrential rain. Some used the time to enjoy cream scones whilst others went into the local Wetherspoons. Luckily none of us were on the coastal cruise. Visibility would of been very poor. Some did manage to view the Damien Hirst statue – Verity.
We then travelled to Woolacombe which, I think, has the most beautiful beach in the county. The sun shone throughout our visit and we all had a very enjoyable visit.
