LIFE AFTER STROKE IS ESSENTIAL….

Which is why we formed the Let’s Go Stroke Club in 1997.

Too often following a stroke, survivors shut themselves away and become virtual recluses, they feel self conscious, and like a square peg in a round hole.

We aim to help stroke survivors to get back some sense of normality, to socialise without feeling that they are being scrutinised, and to get out of the confines of their house and enjoy themselves again. We have a wealth of experience amongst our members of most of the difficulties you may face, and can offer advice on how to overcome them.

We meet at the Select Security Stadium, Widnes on the second Wednesday of every month at 8pm. No transport? Not a problem, we can arrange that for you. Come and join us and have a chat over a cup of tea (or something stronger!), meet our friendly bunch of like-minded members, enjoy our entertainment,  have a flutter in our raffle.  Come on one of our monthly outings, or even join us on one of our holidays. Maybe you would like a holiday in our accessible caravan on a prestige site in North Wales.

But remember that life goes on after a stroke, and we must make the most of it.
