Friday 5th April – Grand Opening for Club Caravan

The unexpected Spring snowfall scuppered our plans to launch the official Let’s Go stroke Club caravan a few weekends ago, but we’re delighted to announce that the Opening Ceremony has been re-arranged for this Friday (5th April).

Halton’s Mayor, Councillor Tom McInerney will be joining us at midday on Friday to formally  welcome Club members as they view the caravan for the first time.

The caravan is 40 ft long, fully accessible and Disability Discrimination Act compliant static caravan, which includes a sizable wet room. It will be situated in Dyserth, near Rhyl, famous for it’s extensive quarrying remains, its waterfalls, railway line which is now a footpath, and mountain (Moel Hiraddug).

Here are some photos of the caravan in action:

There’s plenty of room on the balcony/walk way.

Fully accessible shower.

Plenty of room in the hallway for Bob.

Lovely kitchen area.
